Spring returns to the earth and everything recovers, sweeping away the shadow of the epidemic for three years. College of International Exchange of Shenzhen University held an opening ceremony for international students on the morning of February 17, 2023.

International students from all over the world gathered together and sat in Room 201 of the comprehensive building with a brand new look. Teachers are also all ready to meet this term "guests". In the host Zhuo quiet teacher Lang Lang's voice, the opening ceremony officially began.

First, Zhang Daqiang, Vice President of College of International Exchange, delivered a speech with loud voice, friendly attitude attracted every students.

Then the teacher representative Ji Jingjing gave a speech. Her every word and sentence showed the style of teachers of Chinese as a foreign language, which was enthusiastic, cordial, competent and confident. At the end of the speech, Teacher Ji first asked the students a question: Everyone should know the Chinese zodiac, then what year is this year? After the students answered the teacher's questions in unison, the teacher spilled a bag of White Rabbit milk candy prepared in front of the students, causing the crowd to burst into cheers.

In accordance with the tradition in previous years, after the speech of the teachers' representatives, it was the turn of the lovely students. This year, there were two student representatives. First, Hitomi Okamoto from Japan. Although she was a little nervous, she finished her speech perfectly.

This is her third semester in Shenzhen University, she said that she fell in love with learning Chinese, became A "Chinese fan", indeed, from the primary A class, to intermediate A class, to the present advanced class, Ren Mei students serious and studious, just have such a triple jump. Her speech, let the students know, as long as hard work, there will be progress.

The second speaker is PARK EUN BYOL, a master's student in the College of International Exchange. Her special experience made everyone sit up and look at her. Three years ago, she studied Chinese in the junior Class B at Shenzhen University. During the epidemic period, she kept learning online and later she was admitted to the postgraduate program of Shenzhen University. When PARK EUN BYOL finished her speech in Chinese, English, Japanese and Korean, there was a warm applause from the audience. The applause was not only a reward for her superior language ability, but also a praise for her serious efforts and persistence.

Then Liu Yunyao, a police officer from the Public Security Bureau, introduced visa matters and matters to be noted. Finally, the students also met their class head teacher and teachers, handed out the class schedule, and visited the beautiful campus.
