Through friendly negotiation between our school and Houhai Primary School. We have decided to carry out cultural exchange activities between China and foreign countries during the Art festival, and invite international students from our school to participate in related activities of tie-dye project.
At the event site on the same day, international students first visited and learned about Chinese traditional art projects such as chess, Guzheng, brush calligraphy, and watched the performances and demonstrations of students. They fully appreciate different types of traditional Chinese culture and artistic expression forms. Then, together with the children, they participated in the tie-dye project. Under the guidance of the teacher, the students completed the tie-dye production by hand, and further processed the work into sachet, which retains the personal permanent memorial.
The unique charm of tie-dye and the extensive and profound Chinese traditional art have infected every overseas student present. They shared their experiences during the exchange by leaving messages and filling out forms. The students expressed their longing for Chinese culture and their desire to become a bridge of communication between China and other countries.
