Shenzhen University’s College of International Exchange Students Participate in the Greater Bay Area Talent Recruitment Fair

Shenzhen University’s College of International Exchange students participated in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area Talent Recruitment Fair held at the 27th Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center, Hall 17, on November 22 and 23, 2023.

The College of International Exchange (CIE) took the initiative to organize the trip for its international students and the registration process for the same commenced on November 21. A significant number of students, expressed their interest in participating in the fair.

On Wednesday morning, a bus from Shenzhen University reached the event venue. The primary objective of this fair trip was to provide students with insights into the recruitment procedures prevalent in Shenzhen and throughout China and nurturethe professional development of international students at Shenzhen University.

Upon arrival at the 2nd National Conference on the Development of Human Resources Services, the students encountered numerous company stalls representing various industries. These companies were conducting interviews with candidates who were keen to serve in their organizations. Shenzhen University's international students were granted the opportunity to showcase their expertise and skills to companies aligned with their interests. They engaged in meaningful interactions, participated in interviews, and shared their resumes for potential future contact.

The efforts of Ms. Lifengling (Fiona) in organizing the trip and overseeing the students' participation is praise worthy. From notifying the students about the fair to managing the registration process and leading the team during the fair tour, Fiona played a vital role in ensuring the success of the event. The students expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to participate, acknowledging the value it added to their job search and future careers. For students who couldn't attend the event on November 22, the student affairs office arranged transportation for them to explore the fair on November 23, ensuring that all students had an equal chance to benefit from the event.

The active participation of Shenzhen University's international students in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area Talent Recruitment Fair demonstrates their proactive approach to career development and their eagerness to connect with potential employers. These experiences not only provided valuable networking opportunities but also laid the foundation for their future professional growth.
