On September 26, 2023, our college and Shenzhen University Community of Yuehai Sub-district jointly held a Mid Autumn Festival Cultural Experience Activities for international students.

Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional festival in China. Every Mid Autumn Festival, it is the time for family reunion and enjoying the bright moon together. In order to let international students experience the Mid-Autumn Festival, to feel the charm of China's excellent traditional culture, and improve their understanding of Chinese culture, our college, together with Shenzhen University Community, specially held this Mid Autumn Festival Cultural Experience Activities. This event combines the local characteristics of Shenzhen and focuses on the theme of "perfect as blooming and full moon". It includes various activities such as knowing Mid Autumn folk culture, playing Mid Autumn lantern riddles, making traditional lanterns and mooncakes, tasting mooncakes, tasting tea fragrances, and experiencing the charm of Han-style clothing. The event attracted many international students to come and experience, and international students experienced various aspects of the event with curiosity. The scene was lively and warm.

The international student on site said, "Wearing Han-style clothing and tasting mooncakes is a wonderful feeling. I think to understand Chinese culture, one should wear traditional clothing, appreciate traditional art, and fully experience it.

Sensing China·Traditional Culture Experience Series Activities is one of the student brand activities of the College of International Exchange. It aims to help international students understand and recognize Chinese culture, and promote friendly exchanges between China and foreign countries.
